ETL Developer

ETL development and maintenance primarily using Pentaho Data Integrator (Kettle) and legacy work using scripting and MySQL stored procedures to support Arrow.com, Verical.com, Arrow.cn, Chip1Stop.com and internal reporting needs. Subject matter included internal and external product, pricing, currency rate, manufacturer, inventory data injestion and various extracts and data feeds outbound to partners and business users. Onboarded new inventory sources. Fed data to SalesForce via PDI. Used Pentaho to query partner API and load the most up to date stock information. Helped to migrate ktrs and kjbs from Kettle 4 to 6 and then again migrated some jobs to version 8 as necessary. Created a standard Pentaho 9.3 distribution to be shared between two development groups for a future migration. Instrumental for standardizing and syncing up user environments, groups, and permissions (Linux) to support the merging of two development groups and general modernizing of our environment. Sole Yade administrator (centralized/managed file transfers). Wrote lots of Linux shell scripts as part of the ETL process where necessary and to improve ease of use for developers.
